I would like to go into deeper topics and explain harder concepts but to do this I need to cover the basics.

Everything that is covered in cybersecurity follows the principles of the CIA triad. The CIA triad is stands for confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Confidentiality - To keep something secret and only those who need to know, can access the information

Integrity - To ensure that data is secure wherever it is stored and cannot be altered

Availability - To ensure that data can be accessed when needed.

Literally any rule, regulation, framework and guideline is built off of this one understanding of security. Part of the reason cloud is so massive is because of the availability they can provide to enterprises and businesses by spinning up and tearing down servers in a companies time of need.

We could go way more in depth on this but honestly, why? Just understand it at its core and trust me… You will be fine.

As always. Stay Curious.
